The last time we wrote about Saturlity Esport, they were right at the halfway mark of the ESEA Season 54. Since then, the team has played four more matches. Unfortunately, their position in the standings hasn’t improved much. They managed to secure only one additional victory and now hold a 3–8 record. With the final stretch of this stage ahead, the question remains: can they still turn things around and keep the dream of reaching Main alive, or will their hopes end here?
A tough start to the second half of the ESEA regular season
Saturlity Esport [6:13] :fi: RajutKundit | Dust 2
The first match of the series started off quite promising for Saturlity. In the opening half, the team kept pace with their opponents and trailed only 5:7 at halftime. After the switch, however, the situation changed dramatically. The Finnish squad took full control, allowing the French side to secure just a single round more. As a result, the match ended in a crushing 6:13 defeat. Despite the one-sided scoreline, Walouf_ stood out as the team’s bright spot, finishing as the only player in the positive with 15 kills and 13 deaths.
Saturlity Esport [8:13] :de: Rheinkirmes | Nuke
The second match was played on Nuke. The opening half was once again close, but it was the opponents who pulled ahead with a 5:7 lead. After the switch, Saturlity kept fighting and managed to add three more rounds, but it wasn’t enough to turn the game around. Rheinkirmes closed out the match without much trouble, taking it 8:13. On a positive note, individual performances from Faboudin, who finished with 18 kills and rikast, who added 17, stood out.
Saturlity Esport [22:20] :ua: Deorum | Dust 2
In the match against the Ukrainian side Deorum, Dust 2 was once again the chosen battleground. This time, however, Saturlity played out one of their longest matches of the season. The start was disastrous — after a one-sided first half ending 3:9, their opponents were just a step away from victory. After the switch, though, the French side came alive and forced overtime. It took four overtimes to finally decide the winner, and in the decisive moments, it was Saturlity who kept their composure, closing the match 22:20. The stats were as tight as the game itself, but once again Walouf_ stood out, posting an impressive 38 kills.
Saturlity Esport [9:13] 🇬🇧 Comet Clan | Ancient
The final match of the day was played on Ancient, with Saturlity facing off against the British side Comet Clan. The start looked very rough, as the French squad managed to secure only two rounds, and it seemed the game would be over quickly. After the switch, however, they found a second wind and began to close the gap. Despite fighting until the end, Comet Clan’s advantage from the first half proved too much, and the match finished 9:13. This time Saturlity lacked the impact of Walouf_, who had been a key figure in earlier games. Instead, laj0ke and Raysuss stepped up, both finishing with a positive frag count.
What awaits Saturlity Esport in the final stretch of the ESEA regular season?
Saturlity has endured four tough matches, managing to secure just one victory along the way. Their 3–8 record leaves them in a difficult position, but the regular season isn’t over yet. The final stretch will decide everything, with three matches left to play: against Cillerian tomorrow, August 26 at 20:00, followed by OldDirtyBastard on August 28 at 20:00, and finally Five NoName on August 30 at 20:00. These games will determine whether Saturlity can improve their record and keep their hopes for Main alive, or if the season will end in disappointment.
