Panico eSports bows out of this season of ESEA Entry

- -

It is that time in the 54th season of ESEA when most teams have to say goodbye to the tournament, thus ending their journey in the competition. Unfortunately, Panico eSports is also among those who did not manage to progress any further. Their last match was supposed to be a derby clash, with two Romanian teams facing each other. However, before we get into that match, we encourage you to check out our previous article, in which we covered Panico’s earlier encounter. Now, let’s return to the main topic and see how the final chapter of our international partners’ journey unfolded.

A derby battle for survival in ESEA Entry?

We were supposed to see a highly exciting clash between two Romanian teams… It could have prolonged Panico’s journey in this season of ESEA Entry for just a bit longer. Even if the team’s form was not at its best, we expected to see at least a glimpse of fight and determination in a duel against their countrymen. However, the reality turned out to be completely different… Panico decided to forfeit the match and bowed out of the competition without putting up a fight.

Such an ending always leaves a sense of unfulfillment. Fans expect emotions, maps full of twists and turns, or at least some individual highlights that could spark a bit of hope for the future. This time, however, there was no room for that… The result was summed up in just two dry lines, and Panico ends the season with a feeling of a missed opportunity. Yet, this does not mean that all is lost. Perhaps the team will now decide to make roster changes or put greater focus on practice, so that in the next editions they can come back stronger and more determined.

In the end, it is a pity that Panico bids farewell to this season of ESEA in such an unsatisfying way. While the numbers in the table do not always reflect the spirit of competition, in this case they leave no room for interpretation. The team gave up and must now focus on ensuring that the future chapters of their story are written not with forfeits, but with real battles on the server.
