Superion Gaming one match away from ARRMY Rising

Our partner, Superion Gaming, made it to the playoffs of the ARRMY Open league after an excellent regular phase, in which they scored only one stumble out of as many as 10 matches. The only match they lost was against Constrict Gaming, which showed that you have to be focused through all the matches and proved that there are organizations in the league that are up to the task of winning against Superion. However, after Superion Gaming placed in a high 6th position, which of course guaranteed them promotion to the playoffs, where promotion to the higher ARRMY Rising league is at stake. Every team competing in the Open league hopes to qualify for the more prestigious closed Rising league.

Superion Gaming didn’t have the opportunity to play in the 1st round of the playoffs, as, surprisingly, the rivals didn’t show up for the match and a walkover was declared. Superion then had the opportunity to play against the ATHERIS organization, where the results on individual maps were as follows:

6:13 Nuke
13:4 Abubis
13:4 Mirage

Despite losing the 1st map, where they were unlikely to make contact with their opponent, the players managed to pull themselves together for the next 2 and crushed ATHERIS with a final map score of 2:1, thus qualifying for the next round. Round 3 also turned out to be no bargain for the players, as this is the second game in the playoffs in which a walkover falls for the Superion team, which has yet to play a match in Round 4, which is the round for promotion to the ARRMY Rising league. As we can read from the rules of the ARRMY league, the first 8 teams from the playoff phase will compete in next season’s ARRMY Rising, and Round 4 is the last round before the quarterfinals, in which such 8 teams will face each other with a certain place in the Rising league for the next season.

Let’s hope that the 4th round with Drain Gang, which will take place on August 18 at 7:30 pm, will be as positive as before.
