SGL Season is a tournament which have around 1500 euros in the prize-pool. Currently, we are on the play-ins. The play-in stage is a double-elimination bracket, so teams can make only one mistake, the second will cost their appearance in the main tournament. All matches are BO3. If you want to qualify to the main event basically the easiest way is to win one match in first round, but if you managed to lose the first match then you will need to win the next two mathces in lower bracket.
CSDE Cantera got a free draw in first round, so they have automatically been moved into second round.

Second match in first round was BABINKOS vs. Chaos Champions. There was ancient and inferno in this fixture. Ancient, won by Chaos Champions (5:13) and Inferno, also won by Chaos Champions (13:16).

In the next fixture, we can watch all three maps, Andromeda vs. GooGooSuno. The first map was mirage, picked by GooGooSuno. It doesn’t mean if you pick the map, you already win, and this map is an example, because Andromeda dominated their rival, winning the first map by 13:4. Like we said, you can watch all three maps, GooGooSuno took a revenge on Ancient, winning 11:13, and we will be moving to inferno, to decider the winner. Andromeda nearly repeated their result from mirage by winning 13 – 5 and finally 2:1 in BO3.

The next match was between Resilient and EKIPA. Unfortunately, Resilient’s players didn’t show up on the server, on time, and EKIPA won by forfeit. Andromeda will play in the main event, when GooGooSuno will be facing Resilient Esports in the lower bracket.

Lucky us, players in next match showed on time and finally match begin. Ad Finem picked de_anubis, Inferno picked by LFO and Train as decider. The first map was won by LFO, by 13:7 result. The next one, picked by LFO and another victory from them. 2:0 in maps, and they will face another opponent in second round. EKIPA will play in the main event, Resilient will face GooGooSuno in the first round of the lower bracket.

In the next match-up, we have an interesting situation. Players of both teams didn’t show up, so propably the system drew a forfeit, TurTles Clan won 2:0 against HAFO GANG by forfeit and that’s how TurTles Clan qualifies for the main event, HAFO GANG has been moved into a lower bracket, where they will face Team AWCY.

HOKAYT against Ira Draconis and in this fixture we got only two maps: mirage picked by HOKAYT and nuke picked by Ira Draconis. Players of HOKAYT dominated their rival on the first map by winning 13 to 4. On the second map, Ira Draconis’s have more to say, but it’s still too little to beat HOKAYT. The first team won this map by 13 to 7. HOKAYT will take a part in the main event, when Ira Draconis has been moved into a lower bracket, where they will face Project Eversio.

The last match of the first round was unfortunately forfeit. Project EVERSIO was mean to face our Polish partner – Gloris eSports. Like we said, it was unfortunately forfeit. Gloris eSports got their victory, because players of Project EVERSIO didn’t show up and that’s how Gloris eSports qualifies for the main event.

Lower bracket – 1st round
In the first round of lower bracket, BABINKOS got free draw, they have been moved into second round, where they will face Gloris eSports.

Like we said before, GooGooSuno will face Resilient Esports in the first round of lower bracket. Loser of this match will get knocked out from the tournament, when winner will be able to play against BABINKOS and the prize will be slot in the SGL Season 4’s group stage.

Team AWCY against HAFO in the 3rd match in the lower bracket. When we’re publishing this article, you’ll propably know who win. The winner of this match will face the winner of IRA Draconis vs. Project Eversio, and then the winner of this fixture will play at the main event.
