The regular season of ESEA Season 52 is slowly coming to an end. However, most teams have already wrapped up their battles — including our partners. For each of them, securing a spot in the playoffs should only be a matter of time. But what was their journey like, and what challenges might await them next?

Our partner showcased great form in the Open 1-8 division, finishing the regular season with an impressive 11:3 record, securing 9th place. Now the playoffs are ahead, where they’ll surely aim to prove they can go even further.
The upcoming ESEA season brings a significant change — the introduction of the new Entry division, positioned between Open and Intermediate. The top 64 teams from Open 1-8 will battle it out for promotion to higher leagues. The playoffs will follow a single-elimination bracket in a best-of-three format. The top two teams will secure a spot in Entry, while 3rd and 4th place will advance to Open 10. Teams finishing between 5th and 16th will move up to Open 9.
If Panico maintains their impressive form in the playoffs, we might see them competing in the Entry division in the upcoming Season 53.

Unfortunately for Saturlity, this season didn’t go as planned—they finish with a 7:7 record, placing between 372nd and 377th. Luckily, it was enough to qualify for the playoffs, specifically in Bracket B, where they will compete in a double-elimination format with best-of-three matches.
From the upper bracket, 32 teams will secure direct promotion to the Intermediate division. However, the lower bracket also offers a chance—another 32 teams will advance to Intermediate, while an additional 128 teams will earn a spot in the newly introduced Entry division. To achieve this, a team simply needs to reach the 4th round of the playoffs.
